Just a quick ‘heads up’ to let you know to be in Horsham this Sunday, 4th of June for the French Fest and Cancer Reasearch’s Race for Life. The whole story is here and the edited highlights are:
Horsham District Council, working in partnership with Food Rocks is set to stage another great day out in Horsham as the ‘France at Home’ market returns to Horsham’s Carfax on Sunday 4 June from 10 am, alongside the Horsham Markets’ Makers’ Fayre.
The France at Home market will be full of French cheeses, biscuits, pastries, charcuterie and crepes, whilst their new Horsham partners, the Makers’ Fayre by Food Rocks offers a range of craft, homewares, vintage and artisan produce.
And if all this was not enough, you can work up a healthy appetite by taking part (or just by cheering on the runners) in the Horsham Cancer Research UK Race for Life from 11am.
Starting in Horsham Park, the race for lifers’ route takes them over Chart Way Bridge, past the Carfax bus stops, through East Street and down Denne Road. Road closures will be in place to allow safe passage until around 1pm.
The markets also present a great opportunity for local businesses to get involved and reap the potential benefits from the extra visitors this event will bring into the town.
