Once again the weather was great for the whole weekend and the crowds flocked to Horsham to see the diverse range of Italian vehicles – and some non Italian interlopers too. The vehicles ranged from original 1960’s Fiat 500 to 2017 Ferraris and other supercars. And, on Easter Monday, a single Bugatti Veyron was in attendance.
As well as the cars there was a range of supporting market stalls, street entertainment and the bandstand entertainment. Even if you don’t like cars there were many other reasons to attend.
We should not forget the Sussex connection with two of these vehicles. The design and manufacture of transmission and driveline systems for the Bugatti Veyron and the entire M838T 90 degree V8 twin-turbo engine of the Maclaren are built at Shoreham airport based Ricardo.
