The full outline programme of the 45e Infanterie de Ligne is now available so you can plan your day and your involvement in how the French lost at Waterloo. The provisional timetable is on Horsham District Council’s event pages, duplicated here:
09.30 Display in Museum and/or Museum Grounds – items of interest and things for kids to try on.
10.00 Waterloo war-game commences and runs throughout the day (Lunch from 12.30-13.30 approx.)
10.15 March around town centre, followed by drill session and demonstration of firing commands in, and in front of, Museum.
11.00 Children’s drill session by Museum
11.30 Punchinello show at Museum
12.15 Lunch and talk to public in Museum.
13.15 March around town centre followed by drill session and demonstration of firing commands in, and in front of, Museum.
14.00 Display stand and chance to talk to the public – photo opportunities and time to try on kit, including possible kids drum school session.
15.00 Punchinello show at Museum.
15.45 Display stand and chance to speak to the public. Close and analysis of Waterloo war-game.
