The workmen have been carrying out renovations inside Staples, Worthing Road, in recent weeks. Now they are addressing the outside. The huge red triangles have been stripped back, strip lamps fitted and one side has been re-covered in what looks like a plastic fabric. It should look good when it is done. At least there will be minimal light pollution, unlike if they were allowed to just point a floodlight at it.
Full marks go to Staples who actually sell staples unlike their neighbours Curry’s who don’t sell any food at all.
These shots were taken on a mobile phone as I did not have my Canon 500D with me.
Update; tonight it looks as if the white letters will be illuminated, not sure how much glow will come through the red section.
